Coronavirus: The interactive map to follow the pandemic in real time

The map is constantly updated with information from the WHO, the United States CDC and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control

With at least 8,744 confirmed cases in Spain and elevated to the category of global pandemic, Coronavirus has become a global concern. This is an exceptional situation worldwide in which Micorosoft, the company founded by Bill Gates, has produced an interactive map that allows the global pandemic data to be followed by collecting updated data from the different countries .

The interactive tool, available at this link , uses information from official sources such as the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States, and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.

Through this tool, accessible through Bing, you can see the global evolution of the coronavirus outbreak originating in Wuhan (China), which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic on March 11. You can see in real time the number of active cases, cases in recovery and fatal cases by country.

For its part, Google has reported through Twitter that it is working with the US Government to develop a national coverage panel that helps contain the coronavirus and offers information to citizens.

Apparently, it is a different project from Verily, also an Alphabet company , which is working on a tool – for now at an early stage of development – focused on potential coronavirus patients .
