  • 1 yogurt
  • 115 ml of oil
  • 3 cheeses
  • 180 gr of flour
  • 180 gr of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Lemon zest

How to prepare a cake with cheese, lemon and cinnamon

  1. This recipe cooks very easily and looks really good . We need, first of all, to separate the whites from the yolks. This trick will achieve a much fluffier result.
  2. Assemble the egg whites until stiff with half the sugar. When they are firm we beat the other half of the sugar with the yolks. We will have the base of this healthy sponge cake.
  3. We add the cheese and yogurt to the yolks without stopping beating them until they are perfectly integrated.
  4. We will give you the necessary aroma for this sponge cake with the zest of the skin of a lemon and cinnamon. From here, an explosion of extraordinary smells will begin to be noticed.
  5. It is time to sift flour and yeast . In this way we will avoid having a lumpy mass.
  6. When we have the flour and the yeast ready the we gradually incorporate the previous mixture . We will almost have the base of an exceptional homemade cake.
  7. We will lack the mounted whites we incorporate them into the mix with enveloping movements to make us more spongy.
  8. We prepare a baking sheet. Grease with a little butter or cover with baking paper.
  9. Pour the dough and bake at 180º for about 40 minutes . We check that the cake is ready by clicking with a toothpick, if it comes out dry it is perfect.
  10. We take it out of the oven and wait for it to cool down to remove it from the mold . This cake will be perfect with a coffee or tea.
